Ronda Rousey Makes Grave Accusation Against WWE Star, Says She Was Harassed

During an interview for NewsNation channel, Ronda Rousey made a grave accusation against Drew Gulak, relating to an incident during her time in WWE. She explained that, although she had no direct issues with Vince McMahon, she faced problematic situations related to the company’s culture. Rousey described a specific moment while waiting to talk to Triple H, when a man, later identified as Drew Gulak, inappropriately pulled the drawstring of her sweatpants, an act that was not seen as abnormal by those present in the room.

“It wasn’t Vince personally with me, but definitely the culture of the company. Once, I was waiting to talk to Triple H in the writers’ room. I was standing there with Bruce Prichard and another one of the writers. Then a guy grabs the drawstring of my sweatpants and no one reacts as if it’s something abnormal. He grabs it and starts walking down the hall and I was like, ‘What was that? Why are you grabbing the drawstring of my sweatpants? If my husband were here next to me, would you feel comfortable coming up to me and grabbing the drawstring of my sweatpants?’ Nobody around me acted as if it was abnormal. All the guys around were just like it’s part of the day. I thought, if this guy is coming up to me and doing this kind of thing to me where other people are around, what’s happening to these other girls in a hallway. This really got me concerned to the point of realizing that this behavior is not only prevalent but so common that people don’t even realize it’s a problem anymore,” Ronda said.

A moment later, she said, “Drew Gulak. It was Drew Gulak. I confronted him later and said, ‘If I ever hear about you putting your hands on another woman like this or doing anything like this to me again, we’re going to have a problem.’ He was like, ‘No, no, no. I’m glad you said something to me.’ He really backpedaled, but it left a sour taste in my mouth about the culture there and what is considered acceptable in terms of touching and treating women in the hallways, and anywhere else.”

Additionally, Rousey mentioned she was not surprised by accusations against McMahon, referring to a lawsuit filed on January 25th, where Janel Grant accused McMahon of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.
